O Parantapa, Jnana yajna(sacrifice in knowledge) is greater than sacrifice of material possessions. All karma in totality ends in knowledge.

Doing sacrifice with knowledge is always better than doing sacrifice of just material possessions. In other words inculcating knowledge in our day to day activities(karma with knowledge) is much better than that act of just sacrifice. All kinds of karma are eventually burnt in knowledge.
