Some(anye-bramhachaaris) perform yajna by offering hearing and other senses(srotradini indriyani) in the fire of control(samyama); others(anye-gruhasthas) perform yajna by offering sense objects in the fire of senses.

Brahmacharis(celibates) perform yajna by controlling their senses. For eg: they control hearing process, by not exposing themselves to indulgence. They control their senses. Where as grihastas perform their yajna by following restricted involvement in the objects by the sense organs. Eg: while brahmachaaris control the hearing process, a grihastha offers the sound to the fire of hearing, in a restricted way(not over-indulging).

Swamiji – Some perform yajna by controlling the sense organs. Doesn’t mean, don’t use them. Don’t become enslaved by sense organs.
