Although I am unborn and I am indestructible; being the Lord of all the beings, I take the help of my own prakrithi and incarnate with my own internal energy.

Arjuna asks, how can I imagine you to have instructed the Sun God. So here Sri Krishna is explaining his qualities. He remembers every birth. He is unborn and he never deteriorates(unlike normal human body). Beings are born because of their karma. But since he is the Lord, he is not bound by karma. So he makes use of his own internal energy and he incarnates.

O Bharatha! Whenever there is a decline in the dharma, and adharma dominates, I manifest myself.

This and next one are the two most famous verses of Gita. The Lord here explains, why he manifests.

Human beings, by nature, are supposed to Love one another. We are endowed with the intellect to discriminate right from wrong, and we are supposed to discriminate and act accordingly. Whenever there is a decline in these qualities, and adharma(non-righteousness) is peaking, I manifest.

To save the devotees, to destroy the miscreants, and reestablish the dharma(right way of living), I will appear in every yuga.
