Befooled by the modes of material nature, they become engaged in material activities. To those with the poor fund of knowledge, being dull towards spiritual realization, one who is in knowledge should not try to agitate.

Here the Lord is concluding what he said in the verse 26 that one should not agitate people who are immersed in material activities. They are bewildered by their false ego, and they think they are the doers while in reality it is the doing of 3 modes of nature. They are attracted to the materials, and engage in materialistic activities, being and showing least interest in spirituality. They should be left alone and they shall not be agitated by the knower of the truth.

There are some people who are just interested in arguing about spirituality but never focus on what is being told. There is no use telling these things. They should be left alone, and one shouldn’t engage in correcting them. This way both are saved. The one in knowledge doesn’t lose his energy convincing the other person, the one uninterested is not agitated and hence doesn’t lose focus on his work.

The only thing one can do is to lead by example.

Therefore surrendering all your activities to me, and with the full knowledge of me, letting go of desire, letting go of attachment(ownership), being so fight without being lethargic.

In the beginning Arjuna asks, why are you asking me to fight? show me the way as to what is right for me?

Here Sri Krishna says, surrender all your activities to me, but still act. Because acting is more important than being inactive. And also act for leading an example. How to act is being told here. Act without having any agenda for yourself, act with the full knowledge of Me, act without any ownership for your act, and act with full enthusiasm.
